Terms and Conditions

First, we are not medical doctors. In fact, we are not even nurses or any other kind of certified medical professionals at all. Therefore, we cannot and do not dispense professional medical advice. If you are in search of a professional opinion regarding HSP or any other urgent medical condition, call your doctor immediately.

While we created this site in the hope that it might serve as a starting point for those experiencing HSP (or their families), by accepting these Terms and Conditions, you are certifying that you understand information contained on this site is presented from a parental perspective and should not be construed to be professional medical advice.

However, unless your case of HSP (or your child’s) is even more unusual and severe than our daughter's was, we have probably been where you are and have experienced something very near to what you are experiencing. We can suggest topics that you may want to discuss with your care providers. We can sympathize with your frustration, fatigue and worry. We can suggest coping strategies, and we can point you to some helpful resources and information regarding HSP. Most of all, we can invite others who have gone through this to offer their insight as well.

To reiterate, none of the information presented on this site, or any of the interactions you may have with us or with other site members should be substituted for professional medical advice or instruction. By submitting your information below, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to these terms and conditions:
